Finance Committee |
The Finance Committee was formed by MPEA’s Board of Directors to provide strategic oversight of financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and financial policy to support the Association’s mission and goals. Its purpose is to ensure the financial health and integrity of the organization in pursuit of its mission. Committee Members - chaired by MPEA Treasurer Courtney Overby

Grievance Committee |
The Grievance Committee is established by MPEA’s Board of Directors to review and consider all complaints regarding alleged violations of the collective bargaining agreement and to recommend to the Executive Board whether to file and prosecute a grievance. The Grievance Committee is responsible for evaluating potential contract violations and guiding the grievance process in alignment with MPEA’s mission and collective bargaining agreement. Internal Organizing |
The Engagement Committee is established by MPEA’s Board of Directors to encourage member participation, growth, engagement to support the association’s mission and goals. Its purpose is to foster member solidarity, connection, and engagement. Committee members - Chaired by MPEA Secretary Tate Nguyen

Negotiations Committee |
The Negotiations Committee is established by MPEA’s Board of Directors to attend, negotiate and arbitrate on behalf of the Association with the City in regards to its current or successor collective bargaining agreement. The Negotiations Committee is responsible for representing and engaging the membership throughout the collective bargaining process. Committee members - co-chaired by President Gaida and VP Lindsey Silas
